Getting to know Ashley!

Ashley has been with Salon Morpheus for over 2 years. She graduated from Fran Brown College of Beauty. Her favorite memory from Beauty School is goijg out with her Beauty School buddies and doing fun not so smart activities!

Ashley wanted to do hair becuase she thought it would be fun!

Her favorite Hair Product is Kenra Hairspray. She always seems to come back to it!

Some of Ashley's hobbies include: Working out, and Reading. Ashley is always reading something!

Ashley would say that her best charateristic is that she is energetic and enthusiastic!

She would like people to remember her as being a happy positive person.

Her favorite homecooked meal is stroganoff!

If Ashley was stranded on an island she would want her other half Chris with her.

If Ashley could travel anywhere with money not being an issue she would go to Rome, Paris, and London. She wants to see a lot of history and still have the romance there.





Growing up Ashley's celebrity crush was Jorden Knight from New Kids on the Block.

If Ashley had to give up one materialistic item she would give up her cell phone. She lost it for a day and almost couldn't cope!

Is Spring break breaking your hair???

With Spring Break having come and gone. Do you find your hair is just not quite what it was a few weeks ago? Has the weather changing continually stressed out your hair and you are just not sure what products to use, to get your hair restored to the silky smooth run your fingers through your hair all day touch?

 “I personally love knowing that my hair is soft and smooth. I always know when the seasons are changing in Utah because my hair will start to dry out and my clients will mention when they come in for their appointment that their hair seems more dry and that they are using more  conditioner then they feel they should be. With my natural curl I use a deep conditioner once a week to keep my hair feeling soft. The deep conditioner I love using is Biolage Aqua Immersion Crème Masque. It only needs to be left on for about 3 to 5 minutes and with my crazy busy schedule that is just enough time for me in the mornings.
Aqua Immersion is a deep moisture recovery treatment that helps prevent against dry-out transforming your hair into silky softness. I would recommend this product to my clients as well as an in salon deep conditioner when they come in for a haircut.”

Did you travel out of Utah to a place where the humidity made you unable to tame your hair?

“Yes I have and let me tell you it is not fun trying to get your hair to work when you’re on vacation.  How I avoid disasters like humidity taking over my hair is I make sure I bring Matrix Amplify Volume Hairspray.  It is used for humidity and I like my hair to hold its volume and shape and this is the product for it.  I also like to bring Matrix Sleek shampoo and conditioner.  If you have curl in your hair it helps tame it down if you want more of the smooth look in a humidity atmosphere.

Another way to tame your locks in challenging weather is to use Velcro rollers to set your hair.  I personally prefer applying Matrix’s Design Pulse Loosely Defined in my hair and Matrix’s Vavoom Take Me Higher on my roots before blow drying. After my hair is about 80% dry. I place the biggest Velcro rollers I can find to get a fuller look. I then let my hair dry completely take my rollers out flip my head upside down and run my fingers thru my hair. I then backcomb my hair but otherwise I just spray with Matrix Total Results Proforma hairspray.”

“When I travel out of town/state I always find less is more. I will take Biolage Hydrate shampoo and conditioner this is great for everyday use. For styling I LOVE the Matrix Design Pulse Thermal Glide! I find that it’s perfect for any length, texture or style of hair. Thermal Glide is a great product to “cocktail” with, an awesome combination is Thermal Glide and Design Pulses Loosley Defined, this combo gives you a natural look with just the right amount of hold. I follow up with Matrix Design Pulse Hard Lock hairspray. With these great products you can go out in any type of weather situation and be runway ready!

Julia!

Julia has been a Nail Technician for Salon Morpheus for 2 years now. She attended beauty school at the Davis Applied Technology College. Her favorite memories from Beauty school are making new friends and learning about nails.

She wanted to become a nail tech because the girl who used to do her nails did them from home and she thought it would be great for when she has kids.

Julia's favorite hair product is Matrix Design Pulse Hard Lock Hairspray.

Some of Julia's Hobbies include Working Out, Movies and Spending time with friends and family.

Julia's favorite home cooked meal is German Pancakes.

Julia would like people to remember her as a friendly personal person.

Julia would love to vacation in the caribbean for a long period of time.

If Julia had to be stranded on an island with one person she would want to be stranded with her Fiance Braden.

Growing up Julia's Celebrity crush was Ashton Kutcher.

If Julia had to give up one Materialistic item she wouldn't give up anything because she loves materialistic items.

All about Brooke P!

Brooke graduated from Fran Brown College of Beauty/ Marinello School of Beauty in October of 2010. Her favorite memory from beauty school was Learning two different techniques to cut hair. She learned the Sassoon way as well as the Marinello way. Beauty School was always in Brooke's mind growing up. She was always wanting to do different things with her hair. Getting it to be straight was her biggest goal!

Brooke's Favorite Product is Total Results Moisture Cure. She uses it on all of her clients. It is a two phase leave in treatment that puts nourishment and moisture back in your hair.

Brooke has been a stylist at Salon Morpheus since December of 2010.

Brooke's hobbies include: Spending time with Friends and Family, Reading, Watching movies, and working.

When asked what her best charateristic is Brooke said that it would have to be her loyalty.

She would like to be remembered as a person who made a difference in her friends and families lifes.


If you were to pick Brooke from a box of crayons she would be the purple crayon. Not only is it her favorite color. but it is the color that Brooke would say stands out to her.

Her favorite home cooked meal would have to be anything her mom makes her. But anything Mexican would be Brooke's first choice.

Brooke would love to travel to Italy or Greece, but anywhere in Europe would be great to see.

If Brooke had to be stranded on an island with someone she would want to be stranded with her Mom.

If it were required for Brooke to give up one materialistic item she would give up her smart phone. She does everything with it! It's amazing how much you can accomplish with a smart phone now days.

Growing up her celebrity crush was Rider Strong from Boy Meets World.

All about Whitney!!

Whitney has been working at Salon Morpheus for a year now she graduated from Fran Brown College of beauty.

Whitney wanted to become a hairstylist because she loves doing something for someone and it looks beautiful and she loves tedious work.

Her favorite hair product is Matrix Vavoom Take Me Higher.

Some of Whitney's hobbies include Horse back riding and spending time with her daughter.

Whitney would say her best charateristic is her patience.

Whitney would like to be remembered as a happy nice person.

If you were to pick Whitney from a box of crayons Whitney would be the red crayon.

Her favorite home cooked meal is lasagna or mashed potatoes and meat.

If Whitney had to give up one materialistic item she would give up her acryllic nails. She does them herself so she wouldn't be losing much.

Whitney would love to go to Bora Bora. "It's so beautiful and relaxing. And there wouldn't be any stress!"

If Whitney had to be stranded on an island with one person she would want it to be her daughter beacause she loves her and is always there for her and is Whitney's world.

All about Brittany!!

Brittany has been working at Salon Morpheus since May of 2011.

She attended Beauty School at Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College. Her favorite memories from beauty school were all the friends she made and the classes she got to experience and the Intructors who taught her.

Brittany wanted to become a Hairstylist because she has always loved doing hair!

Her favorite product is Redken Anti-Snap because she loves how it builds protein in the hair.

Some of Brittany's hobbies include: Shopping, She is really good at this! Playing with her kids and spending time with her husband.

Brittany would say her best charateristic would be that she is friendly and loves all of her clients they are all her friends!

Brittany would like people to remember her as a happy, outgoing person and to be remembered that she loved what she does.

If you were to pick Brittany from a box of crayonsm she would be the PINK crayon. She says that it is a happy color and it matches her personality. :)

Brittany's favorite home cooked meal is poppyseed chicken.

If Brittany had to give up one materialistic item she would give up her computer so then she would have more time for her kids and husband without it!

Brittany's favorite vacation spot is somewhere with a beach, water, and 80 plus degrees.

If Brittany were to be stranded on an island with someone she would want that someone to be her husband because she hearts him and he's just plain hot!
